While we work very hard to save teeth, sometimes the best solution is an extraction. This is true when:

•       Teeth need to be removed for orthodontic treatment to be successful.
•       A tooth is so damaged or infected it cannot be kept
•       A tooth is positioned in the wrong place and trying to grown in the wrong direction

We perform extractions as needed, but we may refer patients to an oral maxillofacial surgeon for more complex extractions or where patients have complicated medical histories that requires specialised care.
