The dental implant is a small titanium post that is placed in the jaw to act as a support for a replacement ceramic tooth. The titanium post acts like the root of the tooth you lost. The bone heals and bonds to the grooves around the post. When the bone has healed, our dentists will complete the procedure by placing a ceramic tooth that will be coloured and shaped like your natural teeth.

Implants can be used to replace individual teeth or to anchor a partial or full denture to provide greater stability. These are an ideal replacement for a tooth or teeth that have been lost without interfering with the adjacent teeth.
